What's the penalty for Youtube Copyright Violation?

I have some tv show parodies I want to upload. I know that the material is NOT mine on any level, but I'm putting in a disclaimer. (In all honesty, I have bought many songs and watched many movies after seeing fanvids on Youtube--I feel like it's practically advertising!)<br />

Is having your videos removed the worst that can happen, or will the copyright police show up at my house and take my family away or something? Can I get fined?<br />

I would appreciate answers from someone who has had copyright material removed.<br />

I believe that the worst that could happen is your account being banned because when you sign up for an account you never gave them your address so how could they possibly come to your house?
