This is my first post on this website. but what i can see from my readings it is very informative. i would like to know if anyone has had any experience with monster commerce/network solutions web hosting.

i dont know if i need to go with a preimer company or a run of the mill company with a great ack record. any info for me would be greatly appreicated.

thanks. If you intend to run a premium shop/commerce site, you get the premium hosting. If you do not mind frequent downtimes or having to shift about when cheap as dirt hosting companies close down, you can get them. It all depends on your own preferences. One thing that always comes true is "You get what you paid for"As boonchuan mentioned and as you described, you should go with a long term solid host with real good reputation. With run of the mill company you never know when they may close down. Read more here about how people have suffered huge losses because of over night companies.Simple advice would be do not go for overselling. They may look good and cost effective, but you would surely face a road path to here with difficulties.Read reviews before attempting any host.If you oversell webhosting, you need to have a provider or host that is capable of "on-demand" services. You would need to watch the total space and bandwidth on your server and make sure that you order additional space/bandwidth when you are nearing your maximums. Why oversell? Well most people hardly use any space (around 0MB to 50MB on average, I guess) or bandwidth. Bandwidth is easier to provide, and since most people do not use very much space, it makes overselling quite a possibility.Though each side of this business has its pro's and con's. Up to you to decide.thanks for all of you input. i will most likely go with a known provider.
