Tapatalk is an iPhone client that can natively connect to your vBulletin system (with this MOD installed on your vBulletin system) and we're about to finish first phase of development and plan to roll this out sometime in March. Here are some of the fast-facts:

- iPhone app will be free to download and use
- app is a iPhone native app with consistent iPhone UI and multi-touch features
- a plugin is needed to be installed at the server side that talks to your vBulletin system
- the plugin reuses vBulletin security policy (i.e. it doesn't read the database directly)
- the architecture minimize the bandwidth between iphone and your server so to save user's data-plan
- the plugin sits in its own directory and does not overwrite or change any of your forum's file and configuration

** Pre-release Pilot!! **

Attached you can find the MOD that to be installed in your server. Download the "mobiquo.zip", unzip it at the root level of vbulletin, you should see a standalone directory called "mobiquo/ under root. if you are interested to see other config option you can modify the conf/config.txt.

** So I have installed it, what's next?? **

Our iPhone app has submitted to Apple and will be releaased as soon as we finish off the pilot. If you have an iPhone we will create a ad-hoc build for you so you can evaluate the MOD thru your iPhone. Simply drop us (yellowwinter (at) gmail.com) an email saying that you have installed it in which url we are happy to send you a custom iPhone built for you to install thru iTunes.

** Is it MOD safe?? **

For this release we took out the "CUD" (create/update/delete) so it behaves like a native Forum Reader but we will release full version (with create and reply post) in next month or so.

oh, freaking sweet, I've been looking for something like this since safari's so small. Anyways, where can you find the app? (And can you get it off of cydia instead of appstore?)
