Hello guys, anybody could advise me how to let my windows dedi working smoothly without getting stuck when multi raring or multi file downloading with idm is going on?
My server specs are as follows
4Core
HP DL120G6
Intel X3430
16GB RAM
2x1000GB HDD
Well i heard about SAS disk will improve performance or could it be raid? expecting ur valuable advises
Set the system tasks as a higher priority and Set the programs as a low running tasks.
That should help. Right , setting up process priority through Task manager wiht the cores on the server will surely fix the issue ?
have you tried the above solution yet ? make a 8GB ramdisk and do rar on that drive.
Also set IDM to use temp directory on RAM drive Sounds more like a lack in Disk i/o
