Updated on 6/22/08 to release v1.1! This fixes some problems, adds a crapload of companies and countries, and one or two other things. But I'm not done! Just thought I'd get this out for those who were wanting it. Keep an eye out for another release with more features soon.

This modification adds text messaging services to your forums! (See attachments)

Your users will be able to specify their cell phone number and cell phone company, and choose which type of text messaging contact they wish to receive from your site. The two options at the moment are text message notification when a new PM is received, and the ability for other forum users to send them a personal text message from your forums, like the email feature.

This modifcation is limited to cell phone companies which provide public "texting emails". These are emails that are usually in the form of [email protected] (xxx being your number).

See screenshots to get a better idea of what this can do. See the readme for more information on how this works. It installs as a single product, and will do all template changes for you if you have the Template Management System installed. It does require vBulletin 3.7.0 and above for the time being.

This is working well in 3.7.3 ??

My country is not on a list :(

if you know your country code and your network email id for mms or email, then you can modify xml file and write your city name, network name and network email address for mms aswell as phone number you can write it in xml file.
