PS2 game says "Online Broadband Only" on the box?

Does this mean the game can ONLY be played online? Or can it be played offline and online both? Because none of the PS2 games i own say this on the box. <br />

i think it can be played both online and offline,..
i have a game like that and it says the same thing
it tells you that if you want to play online
you have to use broadband connection only

It means you can play offline, but if you want to play it online against others, you need a broadband/dsl connection. It doesn't work with dial up.

Back when dial up was more common, this had to be printed on the box. If you have dial up (I HIGHLY doubt you do) you cant play online with other people. However, you can still play offline. Has no relation with whether or not it is just online.
