as in subject matter experts? I dunno, google corkscrew or wine glasses and theres your result, wineware. hehe
Sorry, meaning "small-medium enterprises"... who, at least in my experience, balk at anything over a pound.
certainly not no, haha!
Bennyboy - if you are still taking pointers to optimise your site for some search engine loving, I think there are three significant things that you should address that I believe are within your capabilities, well before you head off for some more expert SEO fine-tuning (which has its merits).

Get all or most of your Javascript (page behaviour) and CSS (presentation style) off the pages as far as is possible - the search engines I believe may have trouble accessing and knowing what your Content (substance) is even if our human eyes see it. . Try setting up a javascript file elsewhere, and certainly do that with your CSS declarations. Equally style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Agreed, good post Paul, thanks for that.
No worries, there's nothing more satisfying - virtually speaking - than watching a web project get back target="_blank">this statement by Google style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

If it works you will probably impress your clients with how effective your services are (see my example at the end) and you may even be better looking - geographically speaking, of course.
As far as reading:
Research Geotagging and Geographic coordinates in the big Wiki. Interestingly, the ICBM address or missile address is aged hacker slang for target="_blank">here to get your code. The great thing is that you can just type in the town so you don't have to specify the broom-cupboard base that you may be building up your 'local' empire from.
Then use: http://www.geo-tag.de/validator/en.php to test out if you are getting it right.
As far as an example:
You might want to check out a site I just went through the geo-optimisation of for, for a valid result. Try looking at cakes2catering. Although I had to adjust stuff to be 'valid' according to the above, the work I have done with the localisation and the word Hertfordshire (in the metas from the start) around prior geo-localisation brings style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />), and generally be more relaxed - try and reduce them down to half the amount that you currently have. Perhaps also take out the '•' because despite its aesthetics it uses up the character count (if it is in the logarithms). Consider also taking out the 'graphic' and 'multimedia' out of your signature if you really want to zone in style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

One suggestion would be to dump the js files into the footer (before body ends), and to remove the 2nd body start tag!
I think you have to be careful of focusing target="_blank">https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1
http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/
- http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/plu ... ywords.xml
- This will add WT to your search bar in Firefox (where your Google search box is)

I guess the main advice is to find out what your market is actually searching for, then carefully and naturally include these in places like the h1 tags, title tags, hyperlink anchor text etc.

Google adwords is a great way to learn about the terms that people are searching for, it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />) are examples of realistic marketing tactics.
