Functionnalities​
Here is a small list of functionnalities :
  • Ajax based and simple install
  • Lots of options to customize the chatbox to your needs

    • /me : well known IRC command
    • /del : remove shouts (different possibilities of removal)

    • /ban : ban user from chatbox

    • /announcement : modify the announcement on top of the chatbox
    • /slap : allow user to slap another user

  • Edition of chats by a double click on the chat (based on ajax)

 Known uncorrectable bug
  • Menu problem with editor at bottom and prompt message in the chat input field
Reported bugs
  • Usergroup color/style markup not taken into account in the whosinthechatbox
  • Wrong number of people online/names in the whosinthechatbox
  • Problem with date locale in the chatbox logs in admincp Can't be reproduced
  • If bbcodes are disabled but not the smilies, the smilies aren't parsed anymore
  • User are able to see channels archives they don't have access by entering the id of the channels in the url
  • Entering some special characters in a chat makes the chatbox hang
  • IF a user has not access to a channel he still sees the message when searching
  • When censor words are typed in the chatbox, they get replaced but the chatbox hangs until the chat is removed

    The free version of the product is released with a branding label which displays the name of the product, its version and a link back to our forum.
     This label must remain intact as part of the scripts. The purchasing of this package grants you the right of removal of the copyright from the chatbox.
     However, it doesn't transfer in any manner the copyright of the MGC Chatbox Evo product and doesn't allow you to distribute it in any medium.
     Please read our Term of Service for further information.
