In a presentation full of pomp and with historical theme (Somos Guererros or We are Warriors) Adidas Miami Heat Hats and the Mexico Football Federation officially presented the new team kits to worn at the World Cup in South Africa in the auspicous setting of El Museo de Antropologa (Museum of Anthropology) in Mexico City.the Mexican players present the new kitMembers of El Tri including Guillermo Ochoa, Gerardo Torrado, Francisco Palencia and Andrs Guardado plus the FIFA president Joseph Blatter were in attendance for the big event.The Mexico home kit is in the traditional green colour , but this year features the famous three Adidas stripes stripes in red colour down the arm and shorts Shaquille O'Neal Jersey . The Adidas symbol is placed below the V-shaped collar with the national crest at the heart.The home shorts are white with Udonis Haslem Jersey red stripe and the socks are green. The home shirt also has a feather pattern in reference to the Eagle Warrior national symbol and subtle hints of Aztec Pyramids.The goalkeeping kit will be the same as the home kit but long sleeved and all white.Francisco Palencia presents the new kit.Unusually the kit also sports shoulder pads (black for the goalkeeping kit) maybe LeBron James Jersey to give the players of appearance of extra physicality.Mexican keeper Guillermo OchoaMexico celebrates its Bi-centenial this year and extra emphasis is given to its rich cultural and footballing history in the kit design.Mexico have a slew of friendlies in the coming months against the might of New Zealand, North Korea and Iceland (all in the USA), their last game at home will be against Derrick Jones Jr. Jersey Chile in May then matches against England, Holland Germany in the lead up to the World Cup should provide sterner tests and preparation.
