I havent dealt with php in a while including magento, I know that you can run php apps on Heroku, AppFog and EngineYard.So basically I am helping out my friend with his decision on how and by which means to launch his online store, he is sticking to Magento as commerce platform, got his VD/UX stages completed. I was think to ease some of the issues he will be dealing with regarding infrastructure and deployments by suggesting on using one of these, at least as a starting point in his endeavor.So wondering if any one run Magento platform on any of these and what are your takes on this approach, issues that arisen from this direction and so on?Thanks a bunch.
