You can reply if you are qualified.
If the company needs any money in advance as processing fee etc., give it up. (Don't pay)
Nowadays H1B visas are rarely issued.
Sponsors should be a reputable company.
American Consulates or Embassy in India have
a right to reject any application without giving a reason.
You will be losing your visa application processing fee
payable to the consulates , even if you don't get a visa.

Two days back ,some one rang me up from Virginia.
Sent a mail too.
The mail had no address, but for telephone numbers and the
names of two persons.
They themselves fixed up an appointment with me .
Spoke to me. I was told that I would be included in their
who is who forthcoming directory.
Said I should remit USD 2500/-.
I thanked them. Rejected their offer politely.

You find a quite a number of similar scams reaching you
through mails and telephone calls.
