i bought avocent dsr 2161..... after i got the item the ni looked into the manual and found that i need a license for DSVIEW version 3 program to manage the kvm. dows anyone got any license for me plez ?maybe someone got 1 spare or maybe broken avocent??thanku for all helpers aroundill apreciat your help.I don't think anybody just has them laying around, the licenses are pretty expensive. Last I checked for a single client it was ~$700We've got a Dell 2161 which is a rebrand of the avocent. The Dell RCS tool is free and may work for your unit. You'd have to google it to get the download link, but it is avail from their site.
