According to Wikipedia (and other news websites) "GTA 4 sold more than 3.6 million copies on its first day of availability (garnering $310 million in sales)".

The game is priced at $60, which means that 3.6 million copies should have gathered $216 million. From where did additional $94 million of profit come?
Update The price difference couldn't have such a large effect. Australia alone couldn't sell 1 million copies. And the collector's edition only costs $90, which means that at least 80% of people should have purchased it to make the numbers right.
Also, the price in China was even lower - $50.
Now I see that I'm wrong. The game costs $90 in Europe and 110$ in Australia. That's the source of additional revenue.

Thanks!
