Here are good and cheap domain sites:

http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/ - 1 year for $1.99
http://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/default.asp - $8.95 a year
cheap-domainnames.com - $8.95 a year
While buyinh a domani name u need to make sure that they also have quality support and must have instant DNS update service. Such few small things reallly matter somthing
Well if that's the case, you can't beat www.123-reg.co.uk

You can update the DNS pretty much instantly and they are style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Godaddy is the best service i think.
They are cheap as well as have all facility you need.
I use cheap-domainregistration.com. $7.95 or $8.95 per year and they have all the support you could want. Near instant DNS updates too - usually within an hour and I'm ready to go.
well for these three urls you don't need to worry about, they are the gaints in domain registration and hosting market and thier support is excellent.
Ok, I have a question.
I just registered a domain with yahoo a few days back. How soon can I submit a domain transfer request? I would like to transfer to :-
1. Another registerar
2. Another Owner

I submited an inquiry to godaddy (my another registrar, and they replied that new domain need to be with current registrar for 60days before they allow a transfer. Is this true?

Any input? Thanks.

I'v always used them for years and not style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ding, Ding, Ding! We have a winnner But seriously.. 123-reg are who I use mostly and they are fab!
Thats strange. I found 123-reg to be awful. I've target="_blank">1&1 is however the cheapest which I know of, at just ?.68 for the standard 2 years co.uk registration. I've got quite a few domains registered with 1&1 and they've been brilliant over the years.
www.godaddy.com

Never had any troubles with them:)

I Have 1 .co.uk domain and 1 .orgdomain with them, never any trouble with them
I used 123 target="_blank">ukreg ever since that bad experience with 123 and they rock! And I won't call them cheap, but good value sounds better to me.

Oli
ill look at these all im looking to buy a domain. haven't decided on a name but im in the market lol.
**bump**

Just registered a domain with 123-reg

They seem nicer than godaddy to use, especially when purchasing
I used 123-reg and 1and1.co.uk and prefer 1and1. I've just started using godaddy and they seem pretty good (although I haven't been using them long enough to have had any problems)
