thnx allot for that MOD but why every one here don't embed a demo for the MOD so we can see it :D any way thnx allot i will try it

thnx any way i installed that brilliant MOD it really rocks but i got a problem with the Arabic language coz i have been converting my DB into UTF8_bin
the Arabic appears as
[اليوم 12:38 PM] Amr: السلام عليكم
so what can i do please
the encoding problem i tried to modifie
infernoshout.php
and change the encoding into UTF8
but still the problem as it is only in the IE
but at the Firefox there is no problem
and most users use IE of course
what can i dooooooooooooooooooo :(

i added a user test:test. dont change the pass please this is for all users to use if they dont have a login.

Hm, i don't get why the chatbox isn't showing up. I did everything in the installation text, steps 1 through 3. I just didn't do anything past the "To enable the shoutbox in more places" part, but that seems like it's not mandatory.

And the Inferno vBShout Settings thing shows up in my vbulletin options.

did you add the

in your FORUMHOME templet? i got mine just under the $navbar
if that dont work sorry i can't help.

Hm, I think i might have sort of figured it out.

I had the vbshout pro disabled in the "plugins and products" manager thing. But, whenever i enable it, i get this message whenever i try to access my forums

I've tried uninstalling, and redoing everything, and the same thing happens.

The error is saying that the script cant find the files needed so it looks like you may have uploaded the files to the wrong folders.....

or if you have recently upgraded vB make sure all the files and folders are chmodded correctly.

i uploaded the UPLOAD folder into
public_html > forums > UPLOAD (alongside with the index.php and member.php files).

And I did upgrade from 3.7.0 beta 2, to the 3.7.0 final gold version a few weeks ago. But I don't see what I would have to change with doing that.

Hm, and I tried installing the vBShout Lite, and the same thing happened, weird.

Ah, I figured it out. I was just copying and pasting the "upload" folder into the root directory. But rather I guess you're supposed to put admin cp files into the VB admin cp folder, and put the includes files into the VB includes folder.

Man this chatbox is a great addition to my site. Thanks a bunch hoxxy
