What are the consequences of using a cracked vBulletin forum?

Could they shut my website down?
Or are they just asking me to remove it if so..

And can they actually be sure that I'm using a cracked version of vBulletin?

Shut down. Yes, if you are on a normal Host Server. On a offshore Host, they can do nothing... But normally they contact you and give you a chance to buy a license or remove the whole forum...

i don't need do think about it, i got a legit vbulletin lifetime license...

i dont know exactly, but vbulletin got a few callbacks, i hope they are removed. if they are removed they cant track you without some info (if somebody report you).

Of course they can be sure if you are using a cracked version or not. They got a full list of websites using their software and if they found your website and they don't see it on the list, then they will send you a notice to buy a license or take down your site.

easy to see if you have a nulled forum, they have the list of all the domain names where a site is having a legal license, so they just have to check their list and they know yours is not... why do you ask, are you just 5?

If you want to check some offshore host, you can go to vBteam hosting subforum, or if you can't find some, just search it in DP or WHT.
