Did you allow Custom Avatars ? Or even selected Path for Custom avatars ? Or even made CHMOD 755 to folder customavatars ?

Dear Just brows your avator and click on save button your avator will be save... and ignore that mesage pic cant loaded i am experiencing the same prob but avator comes in ur display.:d

go to diagnostics in your admincp and see if you can upload a file there.

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Upload

It should give you some diagnostic information if it fails.

Have you checked your error log to see why the upload failed?

No errors occurred while opening the uploaded file for reading. You should be able to turn off the "Upload In Safe Mode?" option without any adverse effects.

The only way YOU can fix it is call you ISP and tell them to turn it off or find a better provider. With safe mode enabled you will ALWAYS have problems trying to run almost ALL CMS packages, not just vBulletin. HTH, glad you got to the next step anyway, looked like you were struggling there for some time.

Yes, you should be able to disable this without a problem and may actually help because I think its trying to access the /tmp defined there.

Admincp --> vBulletin options --> Server Settings and Optimization Options.
