I just noticed a post over on the vbulletin site that totally freaked me out. The thread that I was checking out has about PM spammers and one of the posters happen to mention the name of the site that got spammed. TWO posts later, some one from vb posted this:
You currently show up as unlicensed, but the forum you run appears to be vBulletin. Please set yourself up for priority support from the members' area so our staff knows you're a licensed customer. Thank you.
Didn't say but you can bet that the freak from Pirate Reports went into overdrive when he saw that post...
I was blown away by such a BLATANT big brother tactic that totally caught me off guard and made me realize that these vbgestapo agents are 7/24/360.
Putting links or references to your site as I have seen many times here is just asking for a visit by the vbgestapo and worse if you are not a legal license holder.
