I need to find a managed server does anyone have any ideas on a good one that has good support and uptime. ThanksWell, I LOVE the servers at Softlayer but they are not managed, However I found this great service. http://www.platinumservermanagement.com/ They will manage your server for you. Personaly they are far better than the managed server I have purcahsed before. AND BEST OF ALL total cost has proven to be cheaper for me too. Its not realy %100 whta you ask for but its an option you can think about.Check out the offers section for an idea of who can help you.Yes, on the offers section there are so many good hosting companys. There you can find a good server with full server managmentI can recommend the fully managed server provided by www.HTTPme.com They are excellent value.

http://www.httpme.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=187Hi, Can you post more about server configuration and price you can pay?I would suggest Handy networks (http://www.handynetworks.com)We have our equipments with them and they have been pretty good with regards to support and uptime.Good luck!If you are on a budget platinumservermanagement can help... But what's your budget?I'd go direct with a datacenter for management, if it's a issue with the physical server, no one is better than the datacenter tech's themselves. I've got a managed server and they were able to identify a faulty drive and replace within 30 mins. If you use outsourced, they tell you, then you need to open a ticket with the DC etc, and things get long winded. All in all, if you can afford it, go direct with the datacenter.I use acenet-inc.net.Perfect prices and perfect support.I give them a 10 out of 10 overall.I'd go direct with a datacenter for management, if it's a issue with the physical server, no one is better than the datacenter tech's themselves.

Seconded, a provider that owns and supports the hardware as well as the software side will provide you with a much more streamlined and efficient service.

The the OP - can you be a little more specific as to what platform you want the server to be, located where in the world, purpose of the server, level of management required, etc.

DanYou can check westnic.net very good uptime only support is not quickly
