Hello guys, well my vps after i editing php.ini for setting up sborg and restarting it, went down. Weird thing is that i can access it using ftp but the script or domain not really loading. I have contacted support but i guess someone would be able to suggest some cures in the meantime.

Thanks and hope to hear you. Mate it's normal that the VPS shutsdown if you requested a reboot.

You don't have to restart the whole crap if you just edited php.ini.

Restart apache using: service httpd restart What do you call "down" ? Can you SSH it? Ping it? What does your VPS control panel say? Quote: Mate it's normal that the VPS shutsdown if you requested a reboot.

Well can login via ssh and ping too. In vps panel it shows server is online. Pretty weird thing. Try typing "service httpd start" into putty. Login into SSH using Putty,

type: service httpd restart

That should work, btw what control panel are you using? Kloxo? Apache should start automatically after reboot.

Maybe you edit httpd.conf? Well yeah m using kloxo. i tried "service httpd restart" in putty and it showed starting apache. Well its still same shit. Na i didnt edit httpd.conf. any chance that the php.ini edit caused this? Check the apache error.log and post it here.

/usr/local/apache/ Well i have edited the php.ini back to what it was past and its now working
