How can I prevent vbulletin owners/developers from finding out that I'm using a nulled vbulletin? Please reply!

Not at all. You might be able to hide your board for a while, but as soon as someone reports you they will check the URL against their license databse and boom....there goes the takedown notice.

So how do one know when a person running a nulled vbulletin before they report it to the developers?

On a more friendly note:
One doesn´t have to know that it´s an illegal vBulletin. Just report it and let Jelsoft, respectively Pirate Reports do the rest.

Some clever chaps, however, do upload files like validator.php, gysn.nfo, dgt.nfo or .diz or keygens and leave them there. Couldn´t be easier to spot a nulled vB than by checking for the existence of those files.
