turning off PM?

As a moderator is it ok for me to turn off my "recieve pms for members"?
I only ask as i'm being inundated with members asking for help as they believe me to be some kind of vB guru, (if only....lol) rather than posting in the forums.

For the time being I have put a msg in my sig.

lol hoxxy i get 1 like a week for help so after its done i just delete them but cause of skin ripping skills u would get 3 a day?

Something like that yes...lol...not all of them are about ripping a skin for them either,

why do they not understand that if they post in the forums they will have the knowledge of many members and not just mine......
