im using free hosting so that my forum address to subdomain Something like this

im going to switch to premium hosting to have my own domain something like this..

what i want is..i want to move all the data and forum from subdomain to my domain...
i tried this steps..
backup my sql and upload to my new sql server..
download my vb forum and upload to new domain using ftp.
edit config.php to proper settings..
but nothing happens..when i browse my new domain it gaves me a white page or blank page....
what will i do.,..vb experts,can anyone teach how to do this step by step..
