Question on modding profiles

What I would like to do is add extra info to the profiles that the user fills out and have it show up in the box on the left of the posts (legacy postbit)
example--its a scuba diving forum

Cert Level
# of dives

Anyone help me with that or is it a tough one?

you can make this easy with using the acp->user post fields and create two new input feilds. MAke both a text box titles #of dives and the other certificates or certification. To make it so there serious divers make a single seletionlist and manuely add the certificatiosns for them to choose from and then choose the sho in postbit option and there you go. Also de-select the show in profile optio if you dont wont it shown in the profile.
