PHP memory limit

Hello,

I want to know how much memory limit is safe as a shared hosting provider.

How much memory limit should be allowed?

Chirag 16M is better ! If you are planning on opening a shared host service, and are unable to answer this question yourself, then for the love of god, do not go ahead. The world has enough $2 hosting. Furthermore, your server will be dominated by skids more than a $3 hooker at a leather party. Nobody can answer this question as it all depends on the amount of ram you have on server. The amount of users you plan to host on that server.

Not only that, but PHP memory limit and MySQL both have to be configured correctly so one does not take more then needed causing the other to overload the ram and switch to swap.

Do not open a shared host until you know how to correct configure a server. Also most new forum software demand to have a limit of 128 meg to install correctly. cpanel hosting by default is 32MB, I always setup to 128MB
