The price I think is a little high for 174,000. Look it up on Kelly blue book to make sure. I had a 1998 Ford Ranger (Same engine and drive train) in HS that my dad bought used w/ 30,000 for a work truck, and I got it with about 150,000, it was totaled in a wreck with 174,000, and it still ran as well as when he bought it. I would look it over well and probably by it if it was closer to 2,200. I am actually in the process of finding a good used car for my wife and a ford explorer with the 4.0 V6 is at the top of my list as far as value goes. If you are comfortable with it buy it, just make sure it has been taken care of.
