I mean, i can understand why its "wrong" to download, but i have given this a lot of thought.

You turn on your tv and you watch something like Cribs. I mean, even for the guys that ive never heard of or for the people that i consider not to have any talent at all! They have much nicer houses then i could ever afford, and half a million pound cars etc etc.
These "musicians" and "movie stars" maybe losing millions a year through people downloading their movies or films, but from what i can see, theyre still getting paid far too much.

I have spoken to other poeple i know about this, and the say,..."oooh but the have to work like every day blah blah blah" But NO they also can have months at a time where they have nothing at all to do, and during this period theyre still "earning" money. Now the normal working man/woman doesnt have such a lifestyle where they can afford to do such things,.......and yet probably the normal people work harder.........
These famous people get paid faaar too much and yet they would still sue less fortunate poeple for downloading their albums......

Now game designers, taht i understand a little more, because they do work very hard but nowdays a lot of games, the best feature is very online orrientated, like Call of Duty 4 so there is no point downloading something you cant play anyways.

Anyways, im going on but my point is, these people get paid waaay too much for their "talent" and yet they still complain and sue over losing like 2% of their yearly pay....
What do you think?
Twilight...It is not legal...

You are looking to hard, step back a bit...
When a music artist makes a CD, there are more people than just that artist that make money from it. I agree that in some instances the money an artist's earns is undeserved. But as I said, other people especially retailers, depend on the selling of CDs in their store to survive.
Have you thought about that?

I think it is very wrong for people to do. It is disrespect to the artist and the record company because they do not put the CDs for sale just to sit there for one. For two, bands CAN and WILL sue you for downloading music online instead of buying it.
And when you buy a CD it gives you a chance to listen to more from the band.

Personally, I could care less if I'm "stealing" music or movies from ultrarich celebrities. I live in a studio apartment in a gang neighborhood and commute to work by bicycle.

Let's put it this way, If you pay those people $100,000.00 a year instead of 10M they will also be very happy, but since everyone got the idea that celebrities have to make Billions, they will always complain no matter what.

Personally I think there are about forty-two thousand other, far more important things to worry about than downloading music.

The final arguments break down to this stark reality
