Is Andrea Mitchell guilty of bias on John McCain?

From the Washington Post article appearing today"We are extremely disappointed to see that the level of objectivity at NBC News has fallen so low that reporters are now giving voice to unsubstantiated, partisan claims in order to under cut John McCain," Davis wrote to Steve Capus, in a letter the campaign released to other members of the press.

Andrea Mitchell felt compelled to put out an unsubstantiated complaint from the Obama campaign that McCain had advanced notice of the questions to be asked on CNN last Saturday on a show hosted by Rick Warren. Do you feel that it was OK for her to do that?

Some people have varying ideas as to what is substantiated or not
The Obama campaign offers no proof to their charge. It is then unsubstantiated. Of course they know that it does not matter once the story is printed. Obama would be hoping mad if the Clinton campaign had pulled this one on them before they had a chance to do it to her - which they did on her in South Carolina.
I listened to some of the sound clips and it's really dumb for the Obama campaign to complain. If Obama and his minions can't ANTICIPATE the USUAL questions that might be asked by the Evanglicals they should be ashamed that to be running for the Presidency of the United States. My God there's going to be tougher questions waiting in the White House in January!

Shame on Andrea Mitchell and the Obama Campaign.
I gues that's what's to be expected from an graduate of Harvard that entered under Affirmative Action.

What Andrea Mitchell is doing is actually harmful to our nation. She has been a fairly objective reporter for many years, but has now crossed the line to political pundit. (Please see any recent campaign coverage for confirmation.) She has made this career change WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE.
Political pundits can be entertaining and they serve a useful purpose, but they are not reporters. Talking heads like Chris Matthews, Rush, and Savage should be valued for their opinions, but when we start to grant their spin as actual fact--our nation becomes lost.
Freedom of the Press has made the U.S. stronger. It forces our leaders to act with integrity lest their misdeeds be discovered. Andrea Mitchell, long time respected reporter, has secretly jetisoned her professional responsibility and is now taking money for doing something shameful.
Guess what other profession makes money for comitting shameful acts?
