I'm having trouble installing php...I don't know if I configured the apache conf file right. Can someone help me (I'm trying to install php-4.3.4):( I'm a bit frustrated. What have you done so far?

What is it doing, or not doing?platform/OS?
from source or binary?
install as cgi or module?
what's in your httpd.conf?I recently Download ed and installed PHPdev on Windows98SE and got it working in under five minutes.

Just one setting in the phpdev.ini file to amend to make the example phpwebsite work properly. All the other stuff worked immediately straight out of the box.Which version should I Download ?I used the stable release version, something like 4.23 but there are also some test copies of version 5 available if you prefer bleeding edge technology.the thing's so stubborn, can't Download .Huh?
