I am looking into starting my own Maplestory private server. I have a few questions.?

I was looking at this guide http//www.odinms.de/forum/showthread.php?t=64750 on how to do it and I was wondering about the MySQL? I went on their web site and I found out their are a bunch of versions and I dont know what version I am required to have. Also I supposed I need 5.0 http//dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html so I press it and I see windows x64 and x86 and I dont know which one i need for my system. Im using Windows Vista. <br />

Also I have question about the risks of having your own server is their more danger because you are letting people connect to you and what is the worst that can happen?<br />

start > type system in the search box and click system. it should say under os. theres no danger to letting ppl play on ur server, the problem is u can get into legal trouble for having a pirate server setup. if u do go on with it u gotta forward ports otherwise no one can connect to ur server.
