cheapest website plan?

Is there some way to get a .com website for a one time fee, like if I buy the .com name and use a free webhost or something. If I can't, then what's the cheapest way to buy a .com name and get it hosted.<br />

um use something with a whois like http//www.godaddy.com search if it is avalable it was much cheaper than i thought to get a domain and of coarse you can always get free hosting

Cheapest is not generally the best.
Most webhosts will offer a package with a lifetime free .com name.
I recommend Hostgator or MidPhase.
