I'm after a good UK-based host for a Wordpress based site. They need to support PHP and offer MySQL databases. It's a small site with low traffic and I'm looking to run Google Apps for domains style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Seriously though Clook, or United Hosting have a good rep.
Cheers guys!

Someone else requested Meir Hosting and they do free hosting for charities (it's a charity website). I've contacted them and hopefully they'll get back to me.

Does anyone know of anyone else who does free hosting for charities?

QUOTE(bluedreamer @ Nov 14 2007, 16:16) Another Clooker are you Ben? ssssh Clook is the best kept secret in the web hosting biz

Seriously though Clook, or United Hosting have a good rep.
?0 quid a year is nothing...I'm in. Currently using Awardspace as it's FREE, but it's slow, prone to falling over and they keep changing server settings without notification. So style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I am indeed - forget they are secret

Just joined the forum and saw thid thread and wanted to say I too am with Clook and think they are great. I have had a couple of issues with my server but their support is excellent and efficient which is better than any other company I have used. They are more expensive but I have found out you get what you pay for in this game and paying a little more is worth what you get with clook.
