Hi
This is a total first for me, everything I do at the moment is intranet...so I've never done anything with a domain. I'm going to have a bash at knocking a decent site together for my Husband.
So, I've bought the domain....what do I do now?
Presumably look for a reasonable host first off (think I've got that covered...fasthosts.co.uk I think).
FTP the files, but what do I do about the domain? I realise this'll be a really dumb question!
If I transfer it to fasthosts, is that an easy thing to do? Also is there a time restriction, i.e., am I restricted to the hosting company for a year? I want to be able to move the lot if they're no up to much.
