I found this quite useful, nothing really ground-breaking if your aware of SEO, but you might pickup something.<br /><br />The 15 Minutes SEO - hopefully someone likes it! <img src="http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /><br /><br />Ben.<!--content-->
Thanks - reading now and it looks quite interesting <img src="http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /><!--content-->
Ohh, very cool site Ben! <img src="http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/style_emoticons/default/good.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":good:" border="0" alt="good.gif" /><br /><br />I even learned something (always good when that happens <img src="http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> )! I never knew that links from .edu and .gov were more valuable, but it does make sense. <img src="http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /><!--content-->
Thats great...<br /><br />as you said not groundbreaking but well presented and a good checklist.<br /><br />At the end if the day, I look at a website and ask myself "Is it worth reading?" (for someone who is interested in that subject rather than my own preferences)<br /><br />That to me is the mark of a good site that deserves a good ranking.<br /><br />If the criteria is so strict I do wonder about some sites that come out target="_blank">Extensive free guide to optimizing a website for optiminal search engine placement. Which seems to be a bit more 'in-depth', not had a chance to read it yet though. <img src="http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /><!--content-->

A very handy site. I've added it to my bookmarks.<!--content-->
A nice write-up which has summarized well the findings of a survey conducted among SEO experts a few months back. They were all asked to rate the things they feel that SEs tend to give weight to when ranking a page and this is what they came up with.<br /><br />Good link ben. Bookmarked.<!--content-->
