I've been using two US-based hosting companies for the past few years and I'd become used to the FTP speed and/or reliably of the connection.<br /><br />Just switched to a UK-based hosting (Clook) and the speed difference is just immense. Everytime I upload something I find myself going "whoooooooooooooooooooooosh."<br /><br />Was either going with them or Heart (as above) but decided style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Interesting stuff. I'm not sure I could justify the cost of a UK host (basically paying at least double what I am now) if I have no major complaints.
