Hi everyone,

vBTEAM had a very long and hard way to get where we are now. We are in top of google's results on "free vbulletin hacks" and "vbulletin hacks". This definitely requires us to move forward. We are having more and more users. Unfortunately this is underground (and illegal) organisation, so we can't do very much, but just a little would be great I think.

Here are some plans and ideas about vBTEAM's future:

• First of all update all the hacks and stuff.
• Get a new server/VPS (or at least change of datacentre to some faster one); I am sick of high pings and low speeds. I will also try to find some small company that would host us regardless to any emails and stuff, I know it may be hard to find, but we've got time.
• Create a portal, with quality articles, howtos, video-tutorials, but also forums.
• Write a vBulletin Online License Generator/Downloader; this is my old project that I kind of forget about. It would allow everyone to generate and download nulled vBulletin with their unique Customer and License number. In order to prevent abuse/ddos, it would ask for valid login and password to vBTEAM.info (in other words it would require to have account in order to generate and download vBulletin.
• Create an unique vBulletin style; My style isn't in everyone's taste, I can do coding and css, but graphics and colors would have to be left for someone else.
• If we'd have more powerful hosting, we could upgrade to vB 3.7, and allow users to use all it's functions + maybe write blogs or something (would have to open a poll and ask what people think about it).
• Organise some competitions and prices to win. That would keep users with us and entice them to be active.

I also talked to someone (can't remember) about opening new forum about best-known bulletin scripts on the market, with the same idea of vBTEAM. I personally think it's a great idea; the only problem is, that at least I don't have enough knowledge about IPB, WBB, phpBB, etc. etc. If we could get people from these areas, I am happy to put a lot of work into it.


So, in conclusion, this is how I see our future. I would like to know what do you think, and how you would like to see vBTEAM in future. Waiting for your posts.

VPS yes needed takes me about 2 minutes to upload 200kb with 8mb net with 0.5mb upload bah and style i think we know who to ask and use a prefix mod xD i have very little experience on phpbb but i used IPB for 9 months so i know some functions but i used since vB since 2team xD started sharing

That sounds really interesting. I think that we should stick with vB3.6
We should have a unique quality style (hoxxy may make one for us)
The idea of an Online License Generator is interesting but it can make members feel a little bit "doubtful" because it will necessarily contain some sort of callbacks.

It will not; we would provide nulled vBulletin with generated License and Customer number. Just the same way as you would upload DGT/GYSN release and run keygen.php. It would save time, and there would be no doubt that package has been altered.

So would we be splitting from our GYSN affiliation and go back to when vbteam nulled boards themselves?

I'm up for making a new style but need some input into colors features etc etc, be aware though quite good at ripping styles and comming up with some odd styles for posting most of my work is just mixed up bits and ideas from other styles and forums,(I hava around a gig of styles alown) I can't do gfx to save my life so if anyone can help me in that department it would be good ie logo and buttons or if anyone has seen some good ones me point me in the right direction...

I still think we should think about invite only forum at least then we will hopefully have more dedicated members, alot of recent sign ups just seem to be leeching. I understand most are new to vB and need help starting up and over time their knowledge will grow and then post what they know but im getting 0 posters pming me to rip a style for them, you would have thought they'd input on the forum before asking me such a request......anyway enough of my ranting just thought id have my 2 cents worth........

We would not split GYSN and vBTEAM affiliation.

About the skin, I can make logo and buttons and for you, just install photoshop and google some tutorials.

Invite-only board is not our main concern for now, as we do not have anything special that we could exchange there. vBTEAM was, is, and will always be open-to-everyone community.

OFFTOPIC:good luck in advanced maths today .void Higher maths was too easy i thought where the hell is the optimistation question xD but it was a triangle for a optimistation really easy 45 minutes and finshed and other people struggling and multiple choice makes it 100% easier

I've finished mine after 90 minutes ;d, which is only half of the time given.

skipped math on school lol... didn't like it got a 4,5 for it haha but ontopic like i told before:

. delete ALL 0 posters from the forum for start
. upgrade to 3.6.9 to get the prefixes

. do something with the Elite section... give those who earn honor for there helping or other things something special... we can think about something to do with that

Also you mentioned invite board is not one of the important things at the moment, i think if you delete all 0 posters and make it invite you will have a solid forum with solid members that can be trusted and make vbteam underground again, only for the best now alot of members are (sorry to say) just stupid idiots with big mouths and think they know alot but you don't need them and want them. (this is my opinion about this)
. The style i think is a great idea also, nothing wrong with the style now but its so simple and a great style gives vbteam a boost.
. Last thing server really needs to be changed lol... forum is sooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwww here in holland.

I've said this before but I think we should get a RS account for us staff, between us it would cost next to nothing and if we uploaded some mods (as mirrors) when posting, we could earn points to keep it going.

It might kick the leechers into posting but I agree not really needed, gettting the mod/hacks they wouldnt normally get access to keeps them happy.

We are a vBulletin related forum, if we had other forum software sections this would this would mean us moving in a whole new direction, but a great idea nether the less.

Im a retired oldskool phpBB2 user and can rip both phpBB2 and 3 skins (are you really that surprised..lol) so I can help out there if we were to go in this direction.
but I can't help think that if we did we would be turning into a script site such as SETS (scriptelite) or even GYSN and our niche is the fact we deal with vB only.
