newreply.php- Urgent help needed please

When some of my users try to post a reply, a popup comes up (firefox) asking if they wish to save the file 'newreply.php' or open it with (choose program).

Can someone please help me fix this error?

All my troubles seem to have started since installing VBSeo

Few questions-

What version of VB are you using?
And do you have VBSeo installed?
Did this problem start just after installing VBSeo?

What file edit are you referring to?

Also- since we're both using different versions of VBulletin, and it happened to both of us after installing VBSeo- it would suggest that VBSeo is defo to blame for the error.

Don't suppose you hav members reporting that when they post it's posted twice?

That's another problem Im facing after installing VBSeo.

ive noticed that around the board alright. lots of double posts.

what happens is when someone posts it comes up with the screen saying

if you posted a poll.........

on vb 3.7 this only came up when someone actually posted a poll

I've been investigating this with members but they are all using Firefox 3.0.5 and 3.0.6.

I'm using 3.0.5 and it's never happened to me.

Perhaps I haven't setup VBSeo correctly as tbh I took one look at it after installing then left it because a lot of it doesn't make sense to me and I don't want to break my forum.

when i installed vbseo on 3.7 it worked fine as default

on 3.8 i had to change the url rewrites to stop people getting blank pages

not using lots in common

it was happening before the cyb chatbox so thats ok

maybe its something to do with the thank you hack

does that thank you hack use ajax like vshide hack??

Chatbox... Yes- Likewise.
Thank you hack has been on my forums for weeks no with no problems also.

TBH mate my forums have been fine and they only started doing this when I installed VBSeo.

What dos url rewrites do? As I said I've not changed any settings in VBSeo as yet as I dont know what Im doing.

Thanks, but what is the section called in VBSeo that I need to change to put this back to normal? (I want to turn this off to see if it fixes my problem with double posting).

thats the problem, i dont know. ive changed everything i could and it didnt solve it.

probably uninstall it altogether i suppose but i think its worth having even if it causes the problem until a fix is found

I can't even uninstall it as it renders my forum useless.

Well- I 'disabled' the product via the admincp and my forum became unusable (My forums had bad links and it mucked up my skins).

Luckily with this I could just 'enable' VBSeo again to fix the issue.

I don't want to try 'Uninstalling' the product incase it permanently fucks up my forum.

I really regreat installing vbseo now as it's upsetting a few of my members and since this foum is in early stages, I want to keep the members not scare them away

Out of interest- Which version of VBSeo (Which release) did you install?

Possibly a badly nulled version?

I used vBSEO.v3.2.0.for.vBulletin.3.x.PHP.NULLIFIED-GYSN.zip version.

Tomorrow I'll have a look around VBSeo forums an see if anyone else is havng this poblem we are facing. If not, I will find it even more strange.
