I have just noticed someone from here was trying to login to my site, and after a quick look in Google, I see they are hackers/ content scrapers.

Should I ban the IP, or is there any point since they will probably just return anyway?

(Just been looking at this: - Forum Posters Union )

Whatever floats your boat, buddy. Personally I would IP ban just for a peace of mind, but it's 101% up to you.

Thanks, but what IP would you ban?

Would you sit and go through all of that thread I posted a link to, to obtain all the known IP's and ban them all.. or is there another way?

Cheers for the feedback chaps. I banned them now, but only this IP:

If I see them on my forum again, I'll need to sit down and ban all their ip's I can find.

I've also had reports from my host telling me some russian hackers are trying to hack my forum.. this evening I have seen 3 errors in the 'Who's online' page, all with Russian IP's.

Not sure if this is just coincidence or not, but my site used mainly by only UK members (About 99% of them are from the UK).

    Here's the IP's of them:
