How Can I Build a Website and Add AdSense?

I'm quite new to all this. I've started a website, but it's free. Something to practice on. I was thinking of going with Blue Host or Homestead. I don't know how to add feeds. I really don't know what they are. I just know I'd like to make some money using advertising. Is there a good website that can help me with all these questions? Also how can I find out what type of website would draw a lot of customers?<br />
I should explain that I do have a set of products that I'd like to sell. But I'd also like to make some extra money from advertising as well. One last thing, money is scarce. I can't afford to hire anyone else to do it for me.<br />
One more thing. How do you get paid, (by AdSense) and how often? I'm assuming they pay you via PayPal and would it be monthly, quarterly?<br />

I have built websites with ad sense on them, and the one thing I learned is if you want to make money from ad sense on your website, do not sell anything else, have your website content only and you will get more click through on your ad sense.

You would be best to start with blogger.com it is user friendly, and everything is pretty much a drag and drop except for the content. Adding adsense. you first must open and adsense account go here http//www.google.com/intl/en/ads/ and apply for adsense. then you will be ready to build your adsense empire. You need to have a good website to get money from adsense. I get around 8 cents a click. Out of 200 unique visitors everyday, I only get around 3 clicks. So you need to have thousands of visitors. And you are only going to get traffic like that if you actually put lots of time into your website. You actually need content for users, not just an rss feed!

You get paid once you earn $100. So it takes a while...

go for any hosting like BLue host or Hostgator or Godaddy ..
add good content..
add your yahoo ads or google ads code
market your site a little ..
