Company: Rackspace
URL: www.rackspace.co.uk
Telephone: 0800 587 2306

Review:
We had a dedicated server with ServerMatrix that unfortunately got hacked, whilst trying to get help with the situation the level of customer service was terrible and our server was left down for over 2 weeks. My knowledge of system administration is not that vast, I know enough to run general maintenance and set-up scripts etc. But when it comes to core configuration and Setup, I really didn't have a clue. After being messed about by this company we really didn't want this to happen to us again, we wanted piece of mind that if our server was compromised again or there was a hardware fault, that we had help straight away and we where back up and running in the shortest possible time frame. After looking through many hosting reviews we decided to contact Rackspace.

They don't offer hosting packages style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Nice Novel, I completely agree with this statement though!

when you say expensive, how much does it cost?

i spent $300 at godaddy web hosting, before figuring out that it was way too much and have since reduced it to abt $75 a year at secretwebhostingweapon.com.

excellent uptime and customer support so far.
full support for PHP, mySQL databases, cron jobs.

i recommend it to all my members.
Well, I said in my review, it's costing us ?49 a month. As we look after a couple of high-profile websites we needed piece of mind and we found that in Rackspace, so that's a small price to pay for complete security
