I have read the news about the alleged "Bigfoot" body and most believe it is a hoax. Isn't that against the law to carry on a scam like that and then give people the url to their website to buy his Bigfoot stuff?

It's not legitimate advertising and this hoax is going to lead them to many sales of merchandise for which they will reap the profit.

I was sure this is a violation of the law. Anyone know which law this violates?
I don't think there's any kind of law they are violating really. Maybe technically they are going against a rarely enforced law still on the books from the 1800's but mostly it's like UFO's. Who knows what is real and what is fake?

Yes it is called fraud but it is very rarely prosecuted

In the broadest sense, a fraud is a deception made for personal gain. The specific legal definition varies by legal jurisdiction. Fraud is a crime, and is also a civil law violation. Many hoaxes are fraudulent, although those not made for personal gain are not technically frauds. Defrauding people of money is presumably the most common type of fraud, but there have also been many fraudulent "discoveries" in art, archaeology, and science.

I would say it's misleading if not fraudulent, so I suppose 'fraud' or 'intent to defraud'

They committed fraud when they led Tom Biscardi to believe they had a real bigfoot body and then took his money for the rights to it. Would the FBI investigate it and would a federal grand jury indicted these clowns? I hope so. Not because they took Biscardi's money, he duped a lot of people out of money with his bigfoot hoax a few years ago, but for the simple fact that no one should be that stupid and get away with it. They will probably try something else if they are not punished. My opinion....
