Not only do they (Democrats) expect us to support a man who wants to raise the price of Gasoline and Groceries, but now That self-same idiot has nominated someone as his VP that wants to TRIPLE the cost of gasoline! And to top that off he is AGAINST ANY nuclear power or Coal powered plants! These idiot's want us in the dark agess again!<br />

-Voted NO on approving a nuclear waste repository<br />
-Voted YES on disallowing an oil leasing program in Alaska's ANWR<br />
-Voted YES on factoring global warming into federal project planning<br />

I just hope that those Democrats who support these guys lose thier jobs when their Companies decide they need to move to another country to be able to afford the light bill.<br />

Bedfordco... I really don't want to get into a "he said..... she said...." with you (he voted on and endorsed these items [opposed in the case of nuclear energy]), but since a few others bring up similar points I'll try and address a few.<br />

My point exactly, we know that that has dramatically increased food prices driving the cost of food up so that the average person in the US has to struggle to afford it and driving the world to famine in some localities.<br />

I understand how it works, and no it is not praised by economists. The ONLY economists who think along those lines are those who ASSUME that some form of carbon offset will be MANDATED. ALL economists agree that it will cost 10's of TRILLIONS to implement worldwide.<br />

It is a stat, based upon current mandated requirement for the use of ethanol and the projected additional rise of corn (which you kind of need to feed chickens and pigs and people) unless of course your feeding your....car.<br />

There you go, now why in the world would you support a man or pair of them who want this?<br />

its a clear as can be said, Obama wanted a liberal who could be as liberal as he is and he got one! Now the Democrats are dispaying the hand they plan to play, ultra Liberal democrat ticket! what does that mean? it means we are going to looses buisness lots of them, mostly bigger buisnesses, closing factories accross the nation because the liberal government will impose tax hikes forcing closures and layoffs, higher taxes to us mostly done through sneaky sales tax hikes and such. this combonation will be great for Illegal aliens in this nation though because both Biden and Obama support total backing of Illegals. those who were hoping to retire before 70 year old can forget it under them because your cost of living will be too high to afford it. the only thing Biden is known for is arguing with Republicans even when the bill is a good bill. what a stupid choice! by the way to all you that keep saying last 8 years, your wrong only the presidency has bene Republican, the ones that run the money spending have been Democratic or did you forget your celebration over 2 years ago?

If you want to fill up with 100% gasoline, you'll still have 90% of pumps available to do it, go for it...you'll just pay more because ethanol lowers the price at the pump. The fact that there are already ethanol-containing fuels at most gas stations should tell you there is a market for it, anyway. Everybody gets to choose...I thought Republicans were supposedly in favor of free markets?

I also think you maybe don't understand how cap-and-trade works. It actually is praised by economists. It incentfies companies to clean up their emissions. Companies who do a good job can "sell" part of their emissions allowance to companies with more emissions. Less energy use, so fuel prices should drop, plus less harmful emissions. What's the problem with that? It will provide smaller companies with the ability to retro-fit to reduce emissions, without losing their shirts on the cost. Some may even make some money off of it. The only companies that will be worse off will be large corporations with a significant amount of toxic emissions, and the "emissions credit" market will work itself out so that those big companies aren't closing down over it...the price will never be more than what the market can bear.

Frankly, I find your dismissal of consideration of global warming effects to be scary and short-sighted. We can't just go burning coal and fuel without regard to future consequences. Do you want to mortgage the health and safety of your children in order to save a buck per gallon on gasoline? Do you want to walk around with a mask on like they do in India and China? Our population is growing, and our reckless behavior is already starting to catch up with us. One current example is that childhood asthma has reached epidemic levels, and pediatricians blame it on problems with air quality.

I'm not getting what you mean by Biden wanting to "triple the cost of fuel and groceries." Is that a stat, or part of your rant?

If we stop borrowing money to fund an already over bloated military used as a mercenary force to fight useless wars with no natural stopping place in various middle east hellholes for oil we don't need we probably could afford a few more democrats...sure...why not?

it's a condition called Liberal Lunacy and it's major symptom is the self-delusional, hairbrained idea that "it will only affect evil rich people but won't really affect ME."

as you can see, copious applications to the affected areas of the brain of medication such as marijuana, cocaine or opium products don't seem to have any positive affect on the syndrome.

however, patients seem to perk up when hearing the phrases "change" and "free handouts"....

Yes the AlQaida Democrats are insane. They are willing to sell their souls and everybody elses to get back in power. God and Country mean nothing to them. They want to abandon our troops in the field of battle and throw our country into a depression economically. Yes the Al Qaida Democrats are insane.
